On 29-31 March 2023, Bett is back at ExCeL London for three days of inspiring content, networking and product discovery, and Pugh will be there. Bett sparks ideas, creates connections, drives impact and improves outcomes for teachers and learners.

ISE 2023 Recap!
Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) is the biggest audio and video (AV) systems integration show in the world and is home to industry-leading vendors including Yealink, Jabra, Poly, SMART, Promethean and many more.
Our IT Manager Elfed Jenkins and IT Technical Assistant Rhys Jones attended ISE 2023 to be at the forefront of all the latest updates and releases, including:
- SMART – NEW QX Pro interactive display series ideal for business, powered by iQ, built on Android 11 and combined with SMART TeamWorks. Plus, NEW v2 GX series and NEW v4 MX series ideal within education.
- Jabra – NEW Android-based PanaCast 50 Video Bar System is the latest addition to Jabra’s portfolio for small to medium sized meeting rooms. An all-in-one system with 180-degree field of view in Panoramic-4K.
- Microsoft Teams Rooms – Touch-based enhancements within the NEW Android update 3 make meeting and collaborating easier. Plus, and expanded range of Teams Certified devices and NEW Teams Premium.
- Yealink – NEW functionality to easily manage Division Rooms, controlling both rooms from a single panel. Plus, NEW BH71 Noise Cancellation Headset series and Teams Conferencing Touch Panels.
- Sennheiser – TeamConnect Ceiling 2 is a leading microphone solution for conference rooms, lecture halls and more. Plus, their Mobile Connect solution is perfect for assistive listening and inclusive audience engagement.
- Humly – The flexible Booking Device shows whether a space/desk is available, integrating with the Humly Workplace Solutions suite. By tapping on the touchscreen, anyone can book what they need on the spot.
What’s NEW in Microsoft Teams for Education | January 2023
This month’s exciting NEW Teams for Education updates include:
- NEW updates in Teams Meetings – including Sign Language View, Multiple Questions/Quizzes Poll & images in Polls
- NEW updates to Reflect – including breathing exercises now available, updates to help promote inclusivity & new check-in options
- Plus NEW updates in Core Teams – including deleting chats, full library of emojis for Chat/Post reaction & Schedule Send for Chat messages
Microsoft’s 2023 price alignment
From 1st April, Microsoft will adjust their prices globally to align with USD. This means an average increase of 9% for GBP with reviews every 6 months moving forward.

Two NEW Veeam releases announced
NEW Veeam Backup & Replication v12 features over 500 enhancements, including direct to object storage backups and NEW immutability functionality. Register for Veeam’s upcoming launch event on 14th February to find out more and see it in action!

NEW Logitech Brio 305
Logitech have released their NEW Brio 305 – the essential webcam for better video meetings.
Brio 305 is a 1080p webcam with auto light correction and a noise-reducing mic for natural video and audio, plus an integrated privacy shutter. It also comes certified for Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
Plus, Logitech’s all-in-one docking station Logi Dock was a recent winner in the productivity category of Time Magazine’s list of Best Inventions of 2022!
